In his nearly 25 years in the energy and water efficiency field, Bing has developed a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully design, implement, and evaluate a wide range of energy and water efficiency programs. He has a proven track record of effectively guiding the scope, schedule, and budget for both simple and complex projects to meet client expectations. His prior projects include comprehensive commercial and industrial evaluations, measurement-based research into new technologies, and turnkey operation of small business efficiency programs for clients nationwide, such as Bonneville Power Administration, Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Energy Trust of Oregon, Avista, Puget Sound Energy, California Public Utilities Commission, Pacific Gas & Electric, National Grid USA, and many others. He frequently presents at industry conferences, and serves on a variety of advisory groups and technical forums, including the California Technical Forum. He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, and is a registered mechanical engineer in Washington State.
